Ordering, Shipping & Returns

A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal.

Orders placed online are generally processed within 24-48 hours and are shipped Monday - Friday. Please note that orders received after 2:00 PM Pacific Time will not begin processing until the following day.

A: We currently ship to all 50 states in the United States. Due to shipping costs and restrictions, we only ship domestically at this time. Please contact us if you would like to find a local retailer of an ingredient we carry where you live.

A: We do sell in larger quantities than listed online. Please contact us with the quantity you are interested in purchasing and we will provide a quote. We do not distribute price lists. Please email bulk@simply-ingredients.com with your inquiry.

A: When checking out, there will be an option to add any gift certificates or discount codes. Please enter your gift certificate number there.

A: Our ingredients are thoughtfully sourced from specific suppliers that meet our quality and business practice standards and the prices reflect such. We do not know where our competitors source their ingredients from and therefore cannot compare our ingredients to theirs even if bearing the same INCI name.

A: We use USPS for ground shipping and UPS for expedited orders, such as Overnight or 2-Day. You can select your shipping speed at checkout.

A: We apologize that we do not accept returns on ingredients due to the quality control standards required for ingredients used to make personal care or household products. However, if you have received the wrong item, we will gladly send you the correct item. If the item has been damaged in transit, we will send a return shipping label for the damaged item and replace it. Read our full return policy here.

Ingredients

A: Simply Ingredients does not conduct nor condone the animal testing of ingredients for cosmetic purposes, nor have we asked our manufacturers to do so. Unfortunately, nearly every ingredient, including water, has historically been tested on animals. Simply Ingredients recognizes this and looks to the future. We follow the governance of animal testing regulations according to the European Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, which does not permit animal testing on cosmetic ingredients after March 11, 2009. This is the industry standard cut off date for compliance with non-animal testing standards.

A: Every ingredient has a Safety Data Sheet available for download in its specifications section (below certifications). The disposal instructions are listed in Section 13. If you are still unsure how to safely dispose of your ingredients, please contact us at create@simply-ingredients.com. We will advise you on safe disposal or other arrangements.

Recipes

While we feature many of our ingredients in our recipes, we also try to use ingredients that you can get at your local market. We will always indicate when an ingredient is not ours.

A: The essential oils we feature in our MAKE IT YOURS recipes are not required. They're meant to provide fun scents to the products. You can omit or use essential oils of your choice.
