Hyaluronic acid has considerable renown for its ability to hydrate and plump the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines. Our Hyaluronic Acid is a 1% solution that is triple-powered with all three sizes of molecular weights (MW):
- high MW hydrates the skin, improves skin barrier function, and leaves dry skin feeling soothed and moisturized.
- Mid MW penetrates deeper into the stratum corneum and promotes protection of the skin's natural moisturizing factor - making it the MW to restore moisture where it is most needed
- Low MW penetrates deeper into the epidermis to induce production of your skin's own native hyaluronic acid, and aiding in skin cell turnover
Hyaluronic Acid in powder form can be challenging to work with, but ours is already pre-dispersed in water so it can be incorporated easily into any water-based formula.
Bacteria are engineered to produce high molecular weight hyaluronic acid through fermentation with glucose. The large hyaluronic acid is then cleaved into smaller fractions of three different weights for optimal performance.

Our vegan Hyaluronic Acid Solution has a delicately balanced ratio of high, medium, and low molecular weight fractions, designed to target different layers of the skin.
Bacteria engineered to produce hyaluronic acid undergo fermentation. The broth contains peptone from wheat and glucose from corn.
The hyaluronic acid is removed and cut into various molecular weights.
This is no ordinary serum - this serum incorporates a high amount of oils along with Organic Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid Solution to hydrate the skin.

Ensure all equipment is clean and sterilized.
Add Distilled or Deionized Water to the main mixing vessel. In a small mixing bowl, add Organic Glyercin and Xanthan Gum SFT together in a slurry. Mix by hand with a spoon until it looks homogenous. Pour the slurry into the main mixing vessel and use an immersion blender to fully disperse the mixture.
Once homogenous, place main mixing vessel into water bath and turn on heat. Begin heating the mixture to 105ºF - do not exceed 110ºF.
Sprinkle Natural Emulsifier 146 into the main vessel and use an immersion blender to disperse the emulsifier, until no white particles remain. It may take up to ten minutes and the side of the mixing glass may need to be scraped to get any emulsifier off the sides.
Turn off the heat. Once the emulsifier is fully dissolved, begin cooling and add ingredients 5-8, one by one, mixing with each addition.
Pour into containers and enjoy!
