Naturally colored, straight from the earth! Our Brazil Clays are kaolin clays that are naturally pigmented due to mineral elements present in the earth—no artificial colorants or dyes are used. Each Brazil Clays color has its own unique mineral profile, giving each one different skin or hair benefits.
Brazil Clays Blush Rose Earth is a rose clay that balances skin to leave it feeling soft and free of grime. It is ideal for sensitive skin types and has been clinically proven to exchange ions with skin, which is an indicator of the clay’s detox effects.
Kaolin is superior to bentonite, illite or montomorillonite clays because it’s more gentle on skin. Other clays have a pH between 7-10, depending on the source of the clay. Ouch! Brazil Clays have a pH of 4-5, which is closer to skin’s natural pH. This makes kaolin more gentle on skin.
Kaolin clay also absorbs less water from skin than other clays, leaving skin feeling less dry and stripped.
Brazil Clays are sustainably mined from the earth in southern Brazil. Its unique characteristics are preserved during extraction through a selective process where the region’s biodiversity is respected and maintained.

Ingredients marked with an asterisk can be purchased from any supplier. Ensure all equipment is cleaned and sanitized. Wear proper safety equipment, including gloves and a respiratory mask that can filter our small particulate as Creamy Coconut Surfactant generates a lot of dust. Using a coffee grinder that is dedicated for making cosmetics and is not used to grind coffee.
Place items 1-4 in the coffee grinder and cover the grinder with cling wrap, making sure to overlap the edges. Attach the lid and pulse the grinder to slowly chop all the ingredients inside. When a find powder is produced, let powder inside settle for a few moments before slowly removing the lid and cling wrap to avoid dusting in the air.
Sprinkle #5-6 over the powder and replace the cling wrap and lid. Pulse again until the oil and fragrance are distributed throughout the powder evenly. After allowing the dust to settle, slowly remove the lid and cling wrap. Scoop into desired containers.
